Hi,
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to you all for fixing the costumes for both of my girls who were part of the Deborah Lee Dance Academy.
This is the first year my girls have participated in a REAL dance experience, they have done lots of school dancing where costumes have been required, but both of my girls are 'larger' framed girls and knowing that the majority of dance costumes are very skimpy and only suit those skinny, small framed children, I have always been hesitant to allow my girls to do dancing as I did not want them to be made too feel uncomfortable. But this year I relented and was beside myself when it came time to get costumes, worried that they would look ridiculous on my girls.
I cannot speak highly enough of you guys or Deb for that matter, as you were all very accomodating and I am sure you were completely over having to change costumes and re make costumes that did not fit correctly. I really hated the thought of coming across as one of those 'whinging parents', and I do apologise for putting you under that pressure. My daughter was really upset when she first saw her costume and thought that she was going to have to dance up on stage with her tummy hanging out in a midriff top. You altered my daughters costume by making the top larger and longer than the others so that it was not skin tight and her tummy was covered and I want you to know how much I appreciate your efforts. You made my daughter feel much more comfortable and at ease and she really enjoyed the experience because you guys went the extra mile.
I also want to thank you for fixing my 2nd daughters costume when I came into your shop last Sat morning after discovering a hole in her top. You had already helped me out by making the costume a bigger size and I really appreciate you fixing the hole without prior notice before yesterdays concert, you guys are very accomodating and helpful and that is no doubt a huge part of why your business is so successful!
Once again, thankyou to all of your understanding and you help with my concerns and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to you all on doing such an excellent job with all the costumes, they all looked excellent up on stage and seeing all the kids have a ball made it all worthwhile...
